bottle feeding!?!?!

So the latest experiment has been bottle feeding. I have been pumping fairly regularly and getting a good stockpile in the freezer as I joke with Dan about how I am planning my escape! Having a sufficient supply to feed the little guy is only half of the battle. The other half is getting it into him, which brings us to bottle feeding. The picture to the right looks very successful... however, pictures can be deceiving and this one is. Logan pushes the bottle away, refuses to suck, and finally screams at the bottle. We have tried at least half a dozen bottle and nipple combos at this point to no avail. Mom's out there if you have any tips, please send them our way.

  2. Jody! It is genetics! Dan did the very same thing to me when I was trying to wean him to go back to work. He refused the bottle from me and would get upset even if he saw me- I had to hide around the corner. I ended up having to quit breast feeding cold turkey which wasn't much fun. He eventually was hungry enough that he drank the bottle. This won't help much in your scenario since you plan to continue to nurse. Best of luck with this, but don't give up- he will eventually give in!! Love nannie
