We enjoyed a beautiful morning at the St. Jacob's market. Logan enjoyed his first horseback ride and we all enjoyed breakfast and apple fritters!

Fun at school!

Down the street from our place we have a school. It is often the destination of our walks as they have a great playground for Logan to climb and explore. This past weekend they hosted a Fall Fun Fair and the train was a huge hit. After many trips around the parking lot Logan finally decided we could get off.

The Berringer Boys!

The Berringer boys hanging out together. I believe that Logan knows that the baby is no longer leaving and sometimes is excited to hang out with Kaden (on our lap at the same time, on Kaden's playmat etc.), sometimes wants us to put Kaden in the carseat so he can bring Kade with him to daycare, and sometimes wants us to put the baby down (in the swing) so we are free to devote 100% of our time to him. Ah the life with a baby and a toddler keeps us on our toes!

One Month!

It has already been a month since we welcomed Kaden. He has wasted no time in trying to catch up to his big brother and already has some chubby cheeks and chins! I also have already started packing away the outfits he has outgrown. Kaden likes to make himself heard and has earned himself the nickname of 'The Pterodactyl' due to his loud squawk. Love you Little Kade!

New shades!

Logan had a great playdate with Nannie in the park and had a chance to showoff his new shades (that were acquired from the dirt just right of the slide.) Nobody knows fashion like a toddler.

Fun Fair at the Butterfly Learning Centre!

Last week we enjoyed an evening at the Family Fun Fair at the Butterfly Learning Centre. Logan loved the bouncy castle, climbing on the fire truck, and was captivated by the story telling of Snow White.

Playmates

As we like to have babies in pairs in the Reid family, here are the latest two. Isaac and Kaden, just 4 months apart, will be good playmates I am sure. One day, Kaden might even be as big as Isaac.

Saturday my parents celebrated their 39th wedding anniversary. We were thrilled to be able to all get together and celebrate (at least for a short while!) It was extra special as we found out this week that mom finally had positive results to her last round of chemo. She will be starting another round this Thursday but the cancer in her bone marrow was significantly decreased. Not only that be she also has her pneumonia under control and was out of the hospital and had enough of an immune system to be around the kids. Mom and Dad, you are excellent role models of what it takes to make a marriage work - 39 years of love, respect, understanding, and sticking it out through it all. Love you. xoxox The Berringers

Introducing Kaden Jeffrey!

Hello world! Kaden Jeffrey Berringer joined us less than two weeks ago on August 21st at 4:42pm. He was 9 lbs 1 oz. We spent a couple of days in the hospital before making the trip home. We are all doing well and adjusting to life as a family of 4. Logan is quite excited to have a little brother and is very concerned about him. We are in love with our new little man. We will be sure to share with you lots of pictures and stories of more Berringer Adventures!
