Rain dance!

Logan loves playing outside rain or shine... he did not come in at the end of this video but continued to play outside until we brought him in the house drenched and kicking and screaming. He finally was happy again when he went for a warm bath before bed! Our crazy monkey or fish...

Working out at the PMH

My mom is back at Princess Margaret Hospital for a second round of chemo. Apparently she isn't just tough but has tough cells and the chemo can't break through. Needless to say, if the chemo can't get in it can't work. They have changed up the treatment and we are hopeful that this time it will be much more effective at killing the cancer. She has been in for over a week now and the chemo part of the treatment is almost done. Now it is time for it to work its magic and kill all the bad cells. While mom is not part of the exercise study this time she has been able to continue working out with Sarah every day! Sarah is putting her through her paces above as she does cardio (on the treadmill yesterday) and a variety of strength training exercises including squats (above), wall pushups, and back exercises. You can see 'Lazy Susan' her IV pump just behind her. She is hooked up to it for the duration of her stay for saline, antibiotics, chemo, and transfusions - all of which are pretty regular occurrences.  She continues to feel physically and mentally pretty good, which we are happy about as long as the drugs are working. She will most likely be in the hospital for another 3-5 weeks and there will most likely be some rough days ahead....
