Who needs toys?

Logan has by any standards too many toys. However, his favorite spot to play is in the tupperware cupboard as you can see below. He is a perfect fit these days and it provide hours of enjoyment. Who can argue with pure contentment and the ability to keep your eyes on him while making dinner.

So my posting has definitely taken a hit with my return to work.... we are adjusting and I hope to keep some new photos and updates coming.

Hot stuff!

Logan has started daycare with a bang. I hear this is the usual fashion and we get to enjoy a fair bit of immune building sickness over the next year. In December, Logan was sent home twice with a fever and enjoyed a cold or two at least. Last week was his first full week. Friday they called to tell us that he had pink eye and over the weekend that has progressed to include fever, ear infection, possible bronchitis, and obviously a good case of pink eye in both eyes! Poor Monkey!

Showing off my creative side!

For Christmas I thought I would attempt to be creative and make something for my nieces and nephews. As my nieces were getting a play kitchen for Christmas I thought I would make them little aprons. Here is Logan wearing one of the many aprons that I made. Unfortunately, it is back to the sewing machine for me as Logan didn't end up with one. One more apron and then on to the next little sewing project. If I ever finish it I definitely will post pictures.

Once again this year the western Holm's enjoyed some time in Vegas shopping and gambling. This year (as others in the past) provided Logan and Carter with some new (matching) outfits!

More fun in the snow!

We celebrated Christmas in Calgary with Logan's Nannie, PopPop, Aunt Tara, and Uncle Paul. We also got to see more cousins, aunts, uncles, etc. Thank you everyone for welcoming us and making our stay fabulous. We miss you and can't wait to visit again.

Hanging with Frosty!

Happy New Year! We brought in 2012 this year in Carnarvon at my parent's place. They had a very quiet Christmas but welcomed all of us for this past weekend. As always it was fabulous to see my brothers, sister-in-laws, and their adorable little ones.
