Bumbo!

Hanging out in my Bumbo!

PJ Day!

Yesterday Logan and I walked for 2 hours! It was sunny. We did some shopping at Canadian Tire and Shoppers. Logan slept for most of it, which really dictated the length of the walk. Today we woke up to a foot of snow and it hasn't stopped yet. I have declared it a pj day.

Luckily this weather stayed away for our trip to Montreal. We had a great weekend in Montreal and enjoyed spending time with the Baldwin Reid's. Oscar is growing up so fast! Last year at this time when I spent a week in Montreal I had a lofty goal of getting Oscar to say "Aunt Jody". While that didn't work a year later he has a pretty good handle on many words. Although in some cases he misses a syllable or two. This is how "Baby Logan" was turned into "Bacon". This just added to our enjoyment as Oscar quite liked Bacon.

Here are some pictures from the weekend. We visited the botanical gardens where they have a Butterflies Go Free exhibit.

Post bath cuteness!

Logan and I are enjoying getting outside more these days. Spring has arrived and we are making the most of it. Logan seems to have new tricks most days and I thought I would share a couple of shots. 1. post bath cuteness and 2. Grip strength demo

Tomorrow we are off to Montreal to visit Oscar, Simon and Claire. This will be our longest trip with the little guy. Cross your fingers that he continues to travel well. We are looking forward to hanging out with the Baldwin-Reids!

On a roll!

Logan just surprised us and himself by rolling over. He did it not once but twice. Once for me and then once for Dad. We then got the video camera but he is not a performing monkey so we will have to show you another time!

Hanging at Oma and Boppa's

Last week we hung out at Oma and Boppa's place. It was my first long trip on my own with the little man and he was a fabulous travel partner, he slept both ways!
It was a great week catching up with friends and provide M&D a chance to hang with Logan.
The main purpose for my trip was to help Dad set up the sugar bush and he put me to work. I spent hours drilling trees, snowshoeing out the the lines, sweeping the barn, and fixing lines. I think that I earned my maple syrup this year. Most of our trips ended with a phone call letting us know that it was time to come home to feed a hungry little man! (yes - the bottle experiment continues). I have included some shots of Boppa and Logan napping, Logan getting a bath in the kitchen sink, and our friends having breakfast!
